Regrettably make, model and colour choices are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please advise the rental location of your preference and if available, we will be happy to accommodate you. Is there additional costs for additional drivers? No, there is no extra cost for additional drivers on car rental. You can add as many drivers as you like on your rental hire agreement. Do you accept the car rental payment by credit card? Yes we do accept visa and master card Why do rental car companies ask for credit card? We need to know that our hirers are credit worthy in order to minimise the risk of vehicle damages and losses. What currency are your rates in? All our rates are in New Zealand Dollars. Do you offer after hour car rental pick up and drop off? Yes, subject to prior arrangement and agreement. There will be $65 after and before hour fee. Is insurance included in your car rental rates? Comprehensive insurance is included in our car hire rates. An insurance excess does apply on our car rental rates subject to age and vehicle type. A $1500 car insurance excess applies to 21yrs and over with multiple rental car accident and $2500 applies with single rental car accident on most of our rental cars. Can I extend my rental while I still hiring this vehicle. You can always extend the rental vehicle as far as this vehicle is available and is not booked for any one else. Do you do Ferry bookings for the car rental? For 10 or more days car hire, the vehicle is free for the ferry crossing and if the car rental is less then 10 days, still we will make the booking for you for free of charge. So when you book the rental car with Quality Car Rentals, you just take your rental car ferry with your luggage. You don’t have to worry about leaving the rental car on one side of the island and picking up another on the other side of the island. Normally we give you full tank of fuel and the rental car must be returned with full tank, but if we give you say for example half a tank of fuel, then it needs to be returned with half a tank back. What happens if I pick my rental car at 10.00am on Monday and drop the car back at 2.00pm on Tuesday. After 10.00am there is a charge of $15/hour or the daily rate whichever is lower. For example if your daily rate is $50/day and if you return the car at 2.00pm, then you have to pay the daily rate. |
